Two + just one more makes???

In August 2005, this little princess arrived and changed our lives forever.

Two years later a beautiful baby brother came along.

It has been a while, but I have always known I wasn't done. And so, on 8th November this year we have two more tiny treasures due to complete our little family.

Oh, how lucky we are!

my little champions

The first round of Winter sport started today. Milly had her first ever netball game. She got to play centre and was just adorable! The game was super funny to watch with lots of... "This way! No, this way!" type cheering from the sideline.

Patrick was up and dressed for his first game of soccer super early. He ate up all his weet-bix for energy then raced around the house with his ball until it was time to go. Phil said as soon as they arrived at the field he got stage fright and refused to play! Maybe next week!

bunny tails

Today I had a little bit of Easter fun!

How sweet are these bunny tail gifts??? You can find the template and tutorial here.
Of course, everything I seem to do is done in BIG batches so here are 25 little packets ready for my class on the last day of school.

I think the children will LOVE them!

pyjama madness

On Friday, I really should have been dealing with this:

Instead... I talked Patch into a bit of this!

He really is a good sport! He gives me about 9 or 10 minutes in Spotlight before he starts saying, "Muuuuuuum..... Can we get out of this place???" He was quite happy at home to pass me the pins though. I even let him sit under the table sometimes and press the sewing machine foot!

We had a very productive morning. Four sets of pyjamas are ready for Autumn. The pants were all made using the Snug As a Bug PJ's pattern from my Make It Perfect book. It only goes up to a size 5 (which I made for Patch) so I had to cut them a little longer and wider for Milly. They are HUGE on both of them so should do us a couple of years.

You can see I cheated and bought the t-shirts. I just can't be bothered to go there when you can get really good quality plain t-shirts that are very pyjama-like for $5 from Target. I did dress Miss Milly's up with some pretty applique.

All the fabric came from Spotlight. The yellow one on the right is the new Lisette fabric - the lady in Spotlight was literally unpacking the box as I was there. The range is beautiful and was on sale for $10 a metre! I will definitely go back for some more - I have two Lisette patterns that I bought ages ago that I am keen to play with.

It has been all quiet on the sewing front for a very long time but the footy season is about to start so I think I may be back in sewing action!

Here is Patchy in his skeleton PJ's. He couldn't wait for Autumn. XO

It is a bit sad when it is the 18th February and you still have your Christmas message up on your blog! To say I have had a busy year so far is an absolute understatement. Work is great once i'm there and I have a beautiful class this year but boy I love my days at home with this little guy.

Kinda cute isn't he!

We go to playgroup, swimming, do lots of cooking and of course, a whole bunch of this sort of thing...

Sometimes he makes me play games I really don't understand...

He talks my ear off all day long and comes up with the most amazing ideas.

Now... if we could just teach him to sleep in his bed!

Love you Patch XO
